QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring 'DEMAND FORECASTER' for Turkey market.
Build & Validate Demand Plan with the use of data and statistics
- Responsible of the data quality for analysis or algorithms (historical correction, masterdata, flows, prices, life cycle).
- Set the statistics for his/her scope of products to maximize value added.
- Adopt the statistics where there is a Green Light.
- Enrich demand plan with events shared by Customer Planning Champions into APO-DP.
- Prioritize the process with item segmentation, focus on key stakes.
- Specific management of Season products, seasonal activities, loyalty programs.
Build strong communication channels
- Provide the validated sales plan to the S&Op coordinator for the Product Line Review (PLR).
- Constrain the forecast till M+3 based on identified supply issues shared during Product Line Review (PLR) by the S&Op coordinator.
- Approve the Phase In / Phase Out plan for his/her scope at RP3.5 stage.
- Run pre-Local Demand Review (pre-LDR) with Marketing to identify changes against previous picture and decisions to take in Local Demand Review (LDR).
- Organize planning of big events (ie. Loyalty Programs).
- Define with Customer Planning Champions, BU S&Op Coordinators and Key Account Managers the allocation plan.
- Bridge with controlling potential gaps (forecast valuation).
Build & animate business to ensure feasibility of the demand plan
- Challenge inputs from Customer Planning Champions (CPC), Key Account Managers (KAM) and Product Managers (PM).
- Prepare the Local Demand Review with the Market Demand Manager (MDM).
- Record business bet for risks and opportunities and identify what should be included in APO or not.
- List, record and comment main gaps vs. previous month, last reforecast and financial targets / Weekly Sales Estimates (WSE).
Execute in APO-DP the Consensus Number
- Update APO-DP based on Local Demand Review (LDR) and Product Line Review (PLR) decisions.
- Ensure Slow-movers and Obsolete inventories (SLOB) are forecasted when a closeout plan is agreed internally.
- Manage weekly adjustment based on customer portfolio data or potential supply issues identified.
- Manage weekly sanity check to ensure consistency between demand plan in APO-DP and the last consensus number.
Lead Operation Excellence
- Run analysis on internal and external data to support decision making.
- Track and monitor Phase In / Phase Out execution for his / her products.
- Measure business value added against statistics and identify where to focus on.
- Work with Data scientist to improve statistics performance.
- Analyze KPI and take actions to solve rootcauses : Demand Planning Accuracy (DPA), Bias, repetitive Bias, Customer Service Level failure due to “forecast issue”.
- Organize problem solving workshops to identify root cause and build the action plan.
- Participate to the BU road-map with some plants in case the country is a major part of the volumes of the plant.
- Share best practices every semester with Demand Analysts from other markets.

Education: University / Master Degree, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge:
At ease in Statistical algorithms concepts (average, median, standard deviation, confidence interval, etc.) and algorithm programming (R), SAP-APO, Microsoft suite.
